Violent crime would go down by half with UBI. I wouldn't benefit in the least... I'll pay more in taxes for 2020 than 99.9% of your net liqs. There is no argument against progressive taxation--the working poor contribute more than they take (working for corps/multinationals). They are going to put that money back into the economy anyway as they are too financially unsophisticated to invest for the future. It blows the flat tax to hell in terms of GDP growth.

Crime is correlated to poverty. $1K per month eliminates food insecurity for tens of millions.

And please don't tell me about inflation as you're contemplating that 0.4% CD-rate (prior to recent rate moves).

Well then you should absolutely be a UBI-evangelist. Minimum wage is arbitrary and has no basis in economic reality. UBI is the answer.

Jobs that should've been filled by robots anyway. The fed didn't unleash inflation. It accelerated the arrival of complete robotic automation. Many of the major grocery chains in my area and discount stores like Walmart are already using self-serve check-out machines. That eliminated about half of the cashier jobs already and unfortunately for the better.

This is the future. Better get used to it. Eventually ALL of us will be unemployed and will be collecting $$ and playing the investment market where robots are pitted against each other.

UBI is the future. I have said many times before and I will say it again. Eventually we will all be collecting UBI with all of our jobs taken over by robots. Robots are shown even able to perform creative work. We are just waiting for robots to be more fully deployed so inflation will be kept as low as possible while we wait for robots to be implemented.

  6. When someone says "corporate welfare" they automatically identify themselves as a dumbass. Far from a first for you, however lol....

  7. This is simply not true. Slightly delusional too. You cannot automate everything. Someone needs to build and fix the robots etc

No that is not true. Robots can be and are being used to build and fix robots as I am typing this sentence. https://www.computerworld.com/artic...otics-one-robot-repairs-another-in-space.html

If this can be done in space, it's only a matter of time that it will be done for all robots. Trust me, eventually everything will be automated.

  9. I think you should stick to options trades, you make no sense whatsoever. What about minimum wage is arbitrary? Why do you bring it up? UBI would be the end of it all. Inflation will adjust accordingly and the amount paid to everyone will soon equate a loaf of bread. I am not for a minimum wage nor for UBI.

  10. Not every part in the world is gettoland in the US. Perhaps you should travel more after covid. And for those who patrol the jungle, even more respect from my side.
