It's fascinating to me that progs and libs, who used to rage against the system, the government, the CIA/FBI etc, the "man", now are their biggest supporters. Any criticism of these groups or even lack of sufficient adulation is now treasonous. Apparently progs want a country with no borders and no prisons that is run by Silicon Valley monopolists and unaccountable intell agencies. Thanks but no thanks.
It's fascinating to me that regressives and conservatives, who used to rage against Russia, are now its biggest apologists. So are you saying it's now more patriotic to embrace the alleged "innocence" of an unfriendly foreign nation that it is to accept the unanimous conclusions of your own country's intelligence institutions? Interesting that you would bring up treason.
There have been plenty of statements from nutcases like John Brennan but no hard proof of Russian hacking of the DNC. There is a chorus of neo-cons braying for yet more war. They also still believe the Afghanistan and Iraq disasters were great ideas, so no, I give them little credence. Curiously, they are all silent as church mice over China, which we know hacked the OPM and stole personnel files on much of the U.S. government and which has an active program to steal vital technology. It appears Putin's mistake was not to buy off senior members of congress like the Chinese have done. In a rapidly changing world, we have to be able to adjust to changing realities. Russia is no longer our enemy, much of Europe can no longer be counted as our allies. It's ironic that "progressives" are the ones longing for another Cold War and conservatives are embracing the future. I'd prefer that future to include good relations with Russia.
Skripal was a Younger`s byproduct and needed to be solved. The report he`s cooked on Trump for Hillary was science fiction about Trump and buddies Moscow adventure. The bullshit that couldn`t be interesting for the FSB.
