  1. As someone who battled lesions and growths on my innards, I get how trading helps distract from dark thoughts. Have you reduced size big time? That’s the one error I should have caught because it costed bucks. Trading while laying down on oxy, bad recipe in my case because my tolerance for loss grew.

I only shared that to try to help you avoid some of the mistakes I made during the low period. Wishing you a speedy recovery!

Yeah, quite some while back in time.
Once upon a time $35k size per position was my go to size.
I'm not a fast learner but that was several years ago, then it got whittled down to $5k.
Now, depending on what I'm trading, if very very speccy and I don't particularly like the company and nano cap but showing super high volume, that would be my smallest size at $500. That just so I have a toe in the water. There are times I will buy co's I don't like.
Usually I'll go in at $1k to $2k and ease in with further purchases.
It just depends on what I'm trading, there is a natural gas stock I'm holding atm, I added to it a week ago, now holding a million shares and the position atm is $40k. (4c stock).
I added to a couple of uranium stocks this week and they are now $10k each.
I bought 14 additional gold stocks Thursday at $2k each. :)

  3. Our goal is to remain as long as possible, nothing wrong trading small(That's what she said!). They will have to pry the laptops off our cold dead hands!

Yeah I operate very systematically. Every day same windows / tabs / screens are opened, same format, repeat over and over the same methods, the desktop landscape becomes very familiar.
Have the same stock screener running with the same parameters, same algos running.
One would think its boring, but break the day by starting the day going for a walk outdoors which helps the brain I think. I've got a garage full of tools, garden outside, two bikes and fishing gear I design. Weekends go to beach often.
