    Trade4Success and Pabst, thank you for your replies.

    Is larger size best dealt with by taking what you can get at the price (ie Dow) particularly if it is buy around the bottom of a downswing (or a sell around the top of an upswing)? Assuming online trading, is there a best way to manage or instruct this, in practice?

    Well considering that the last time I was able to swing a size line guy's were still wearing togas and yelling "Crucify Him!", I may not be the best advice. But I do trade the indicies and from what I can see, if I was to trade what I consider size, i.e. 50 up, I'd stay away from YM and trade ES. The problem's I described in my prior post will be magnified in YM. You'll be getting a lot of partial fills and that only complicates what is already a difficult endeavor.
