  4. That's the libtard spin. He said he is proud of standing up for boarder security and if that means shutting down the government, he is proud to do it.

  7. Can you think of any kind of deal that Trump could offer for wall funding that might interest Democrats?

    Full immigration reform maybe.

Knowing Trump is outta there in Jan 21 that might not be enough though.

  9. Full immigration reform? Is that not what Trump and his base are all up in arms for? Sounds like both sides need to meet each other at the negotiating table. I feel Trump’s approach of not approving a budget deal until the immigration issue is resolved is correct because it is his only way to be not a dead duck President. Trump needs the leverage of his budget approval power to make headway on immigration reform.

Edit: I mean lame duck President.

Edit again: Please excuse my freudian slip?

Republicans just want a wall.Dems want a permanent solution to every undocumented immigrant here including a pathway to full citizenship.

Im fine with Trump not approving a budget as his numbers go lower and lower.2 polls have him at 34 and 36%,Gallup has him at 39 and 538 aggregate polling has him at 39.
