    No right wing spin would get the people to think democrats are to blame for this.Bills have passed both houses to fund the government.Its so simple even a 10 year old can understand.

  3. As mentioned before, Trump is obviously responsible for the shutdown. I pray the shutdown continues until either the Democrats agree to the wall or the Federal Government with its many oversized and expensive programs shrinks. If we can only have one or the other, I would see a much smaller Federal budget over a wall.

    Every time republicans get blamed for a government shutdown, they gain seats in the next election. Its a net positive.

    I have not noticed a single change in my daily life since the government shutdown. I think most people are in the same boat. Why are we pretending the world came to an end?

    The 3 latest polls oppose a wall by 55 % and 56%. Even more oppose shutting the government down over it.


    Aggregate is best when it comes to elections and polling athough a poll like Rasmussen can distort it.
