    Within International there is a massively enjoyable debate about laws and norms and treaties and whether an agreed upon principle can rise to the level of being absolute. Many would argue certain human rights are absolute... But, in reality in the end what controls international law is the power theory. whoever has the power makes the rules.

    I would argue men can't make absolutes because man's concepts change and because man can't enforce them.
    (for the trolls out there... I know this is philosophy so you can have a different opinion..... your is just wrong if it differs from mine - that is the only absolute)

    So men can't make absolutes. There can be no absolutes derived from concepts like God then.

    Whereas the concept of men having inalienable rights intrinsic in nature which he cannot change, makes the claim for absolutes from a deity somewhat irrelevant.

    I don't think you have a philosophy so much as a method for for absolutely shooting yourself in the foot .
