Not accepting everything on face value, reasonably questioning dictionaries and scholars is why dictionaries change and scholars and everyone else becomes better informed. Gotten nowhere because you've cut and run. You finished by saying for you it was about God, although I'd asked you to consider the wider and essential basic philosophy behind the issue. But you are right in that respect. Not discussing an issue is unlikely to move it anywhere. Which is I suspect the best outcome a religious approach can hope for.
I know what you asked me to consider, and frankly it doesn't interest me. Actually, little of what you discuss around here interests me, which is why I've rarely engaged you before. You can tell yourself it's a cut and run approach if it makes you feel better. Lots of folks tell themselves things that make them feel better.
