My speakers at the office were "borrowed" by one of my co workers, so I couldn't tell what is being said. But, here's the basic idea: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FZZEN4Db49U

I'd want to tilt the top three down a little more than in the clip, but that setup is pretty close.

Nevermind... After clicking on this at home last night and turning up the volume, the techno music was as gay as it gets.:D

(Sorry to anyone living an alternative lifestyle.)

I agree, very expensive... sure like the super-thin bezels...

Way too many monitors on the market have these very thick/wide bezels. But then again, I guess they're mostly meant for surfing/watching movies etc. etc.

  6. Unless you have one chart spanning more than one monitor (where the bezel would be in the middle of a chart)... that is, each chart is confined to one monitor... in a very short time, you won't even notice the bezels unless you're specifically looking at them. My bezels are silver, charts have black background... you might think the bezels to be a distraction. Not.

Most monitors today have a bezel of about .7". A "thin" one would be .5".

  7. I have the most irregular monitor layout setups. So thick bezel thin bezel doesn't mean anything to me. And I don't have any chart that crosses monitor boundaries. :)

(And I don't use multiple monitor fixtures either...)

  8. For one of my set ups I have two newer i7 boxes each running 3 HP 2509m (total of six 25" LCD's with 60,000:1 contrast ratio) which I built up for around $3500 out the door. I set it up this way because I like my main charting apps running off one box, and trade platform apps running off a separate box.

There continues to be excellent DEALS out there if you are patient and take the time to do some research for specials.

  10. The price looks very good and everything... very similar to the box I built recently. The only thing to watch out for:

    Available Expansion Slots: 1 PCI; 2 PCI-E x1

May be harder to get the video cards right with this config to drive 6 mons.
