Ok, that makes sense. I have an (old) RADEON 7000 Series card, which did come with some software for multiple workspace management, but I believe I uninstalled it as I wasn't using it. It may be able to do the independent monitor feature you describe. It would be useful as most of the time I don't want a window to span both monitors and having to manually size them is a pain. I use 6 24 inch DELL LCDs. They have resolutions greater than 1600x1200. (1950 to be exact). It's not the SIZE that counts, it's how you use it! hahaha. Seriously, though, you have to take into consideration font size and resolution. If you can't read the screen even if it's 30 inches, what good is it?
what stand do you use for the 6 24" LCD's? I've only been able to find a hex stand that can hold max 21" LCD's.
Thats insane! I have been trying for years to get the right set-up as far as not having to rip my head in a circle. I finally got 3 Gateway 21'' wide screens. Since their EZTune software allows you to turn them straight up and use them that way. I am just floored by that. Does you head have a swivel? hehe

24" = 1920x1080 30" = 2560x1600 but I keep my 30" at 1920x1080 so that everything looks bigger. I find that the 30" at full 2560x1600 is too hard on the eyes. I have to squint and after a while my eyes get tired. at the bigger resolution my eyes are so comfortable.
So a 30" has better resolution then? But the images will be too small to make them out? Is there a special brand of LCD that is best for daytrading and scalping? Or will any 24" monitor do? A Dell or HP or off brand?
