I don't agree. Everyone is affected. What he is saying is that routing using SIP is not good enough for his orders. Ask your broker if it's good enough for their clients. It's a huge cost for them to route using proprietary feeds, so they send your order either to PFOF or to a never never land based on delayed SIP data.
That's one of those "if you have to ask, you can't afford it" kind of questions. The problem with using Schwab even if you had an ultra fast feed is the time they take to check if your account has the margin available to do the trade and give the approval.
