    Hello -

I will be completing undergrad courses next month and, recently, a couple job opportunities arose at a plain-vanilla buy-side shop within their equity trading dept. The head of the group was great and seemed like a great person to work for. She offered me junior roles on either the single-stock sector desk or their program and derivatives desk. The latter trades everything from options, swaps and warrants. The former just equites by sector.

Anyone have an opinion on which is a better career moves when it comes to trading?

I have been investing / trading on my own for several years and really think this is the part of the business I want to be in.
