That book was written in 1977 and out of print for decades. The Taylor Trading Technique written in 1950 by George Douglass Taylor paid for itself immediately once understood.
Just stumbled on this thread, so I apologize for repeating others. In my 20 yrs of trading, I'd say the following were of benefit. (note, I come from a futures background). 1) At least one of the Market Wizards books to see that it can be done. 2) Technical Analysis of the Financial Markets by Murphy. The encyclopedia of TA imo. 3) At least one psych book. I like anything by Douglas. The old Larry Williams stuff is pretty good as well. Jay
