The gall of the most notorious liar known to man whining about fake news. Must be a special course at Trump University to be that shameless.
Employees for a Sinclair Broadcasting affiliate in Oregon have reportedly received a memo ordering them not to talk to the press. Sinclair has been under major scrutiny lately in light of their corporate campaign to have all their local TV networks share the same scripted, anti-media talking points around the country. According to FTVLive, KATU general manager Robert Truman recently issued an internal memo instructing his staff in Portland not to answer questions from anyone contacting the network. “Please DO NOT answer any questions or get into any discussion with callers, as they try to navigate to someone internally,” the memo states. “Most certainly don’t talk to the press about the issue. Direct them to the website and press inquiries to me.” Truman also warned that “giving statements to the media or sharing negative information about the company can have huge implications.” Sinclair is facing a great deal of criticism for their Orwellian media package — though the company is pushing back on what they argue are “misleading” stories about them by claiming the spots are simply part of a “corporate news journalistic responsibility promotional campaign.” https://www.mediaite.com/online/sin...over-pro-trump-promos-dont-talk-to-any-press/ Nothing says free press like "we order you to shut the f**k up."
The same scripted news with the exact same words on every local newscast of every single affiliate of CBS, NBC, and ABC -- as dictated by their corporate parent -- whether it is entertainment or political news. Let's not kids ourselves -- this is no different than Sinclair.
Not gonna lie, that's pretty bad and lazy journalism. I still can't equate a canned story to fill up air time with a partisan political slant and veiled attack on the press.
Except those are not 'MUST RUNs' and they are non-news fillers that are run to fill time when they don't have actual news stories to cover, they are not even close to the propaganda peddled by right wing Sinclair. The fact that you can't tell the difference is evidence of brainwashing.
Let's see the latest news from Sinclair... Sinclair Workers Say TV Channels Are in ‘Pandemonium’ After Ransomware Attack Sinclair is still struggling to go back to normal operations. Channels can’t air ads, employees had no email access for days, and there’s a lot of confusion. https://www.vice.com/en/article/dyp...ls-are-in-pandemonium-after-ransomware-attack
Well they could use Boris Epshteyn's computer, randsomeware does not attack operating systems set to Russian.
Sinclair is literally scripted, there are multiple videos of their scores of local new stations all saying the exact same words. The other networks get stories from news services and of course tend to cover their demographic interests. You will however find the 'non-msm' taking leads off each other as much as anyone.
