LOL, so it was a 'transition', and by the way, these are not the stronger ratings than ever, you just make up fake news again just like your fake peer reviewed paper.
That's funny coming from someone who uses Breitbart for scientific claims. Fox News had much better rating in the past, these ratings are not the strongest ever.
Fox is just as guilty, I don't watch them either. All News is pretty much Bullshit, It's all hate bate anymore. But I'll turn your words right back at you. Don't bitch about Sinclain when your networks are just as f'in guilty. And don't even start with the Times this Wapo that..... If the networks and press would had put 1/100 no 1/1000th of their current energy into Obama and his administration, fast and furious, Iran etc. etc.... it would have been earth shaking the shit they would have put to light. Turning a blind eye to obvious transgressions is just as bad.
This is what I am asking evidence for - when have parent organizations ordered local news stations to run blatantly fake news as 'must runs', surely there must be clear cut examples to prove them. Also if those transgressions were so bad then how come Republican oversight committees couldn't prove anything?
“It’s an economic thing, but it’s a good solution,” says Lord, whose cable channel often runs affiliate news stories from ABC. “Every news director prefers to produce local stories, but the economics of this industry have changed, so that’s not possible.” Nothing to do with the fake news Sinclair is insisting are 'must runs', the link you provided refers to generic material that is passed off as local content for cost cutting reasons - not to spread propaganda. They talk about a ConanOBrien piece, how is that propaganda.
I guess Sherlock it has something to do with the fact that your stories are being written for you. Your beloved Mother Jones ran a piece a few years back talking about the same thing. Not just fluff but their main news and worse, different affiliates in an area owed by the same conglomerate running the exact same story. It happens every day!!!!! You're local shit is being written by the main network and distributed throughout, and to top it all off its reported with a political bias. Wake up!
Wrong. As you pointed in another thread each Network does have an agenda, and anyone with an open mind can separate truth from agenda.
Nothing in the MJ piece has any relevance to what I was referring to - if Sinclair was simply providing content to fill up time or they were producing content that was NOT fake news or blatant political hit pieces (like a 1 hour Hillary special) as MUST RUNS, then this won't have been an issue at all. If it happens everyday then why is your citation so weak, an article that doesn't even mention anything political in nature, let alone fake news.
