I recently discovered that simple calculations such as a moving average of a moving average in Realtick are very taxing on my relatively new computer. I typically watch about 200 symbols in real time (beyond which my internet connection becomes the bottleneck). So I'm investing ways to simplify the calculation, such as using a sum instead of an average, and possibly calculating the series via "tricks". Maybe Wilder's averages? Does anyone have any experience with this to share?
