  3. These simple things are too hard to understand, I guess I do not get it...

    Can't we add some lagging indicators and complicated formula's for quote pages and excel worksheets, folks?

    P.S. Would the thread author be willing to start a journal and run it for a month on this simple version of the system?

    It tells me if i had 2 years of data that told me that type of profit consistantly, i would watch it live until i felt comfortable, then start with 2 contracts and build it up to 20+.
    Also tells me there is some potential.....but again, you can't tell much from a method like this with only 2 months of data. At least not enough for me to risk my money on, thats for sure.

    My underlying principles are always simple. But building a real-life trading robot is a very complex exercise. The actual trading and money management tools are not that easy to construct. On another hand, manual trading should always be governed by a simple robust strategy.

    Well call me crazy but i went through June also.

    using opening price +45.5 points on 19 trades
    using 1:00 price +21 on 19 trades

    From what i can tell so far the 2 seem to be a nice hedge on each other. Still only 3 months of data, i think you need around 100 trades to give you a decent sample.
