  1. No I just look at price above or below 25SMA for trend and possible early warning of Zero Line break and price popping above or below the 3SMA for entry and exit tuning

    Trader 28,
Thanks so much for sharing your ideas with us.
I have a quick question about "offsets". I use Sierra Charts and in the SMA area I can displace the settings....is that the same as offsets.
    Thanks again,
    Steve

  4. Not sure, in Metastock it allows you to apply Horizontal shift (+ or -) to a Moving Average in the parameters section

Trader 28, what is your approach when 2 min trend is in opposite direction of 10 min, are you more careful on taking this trade ?

  6. Yeah I'll go for less than $200, maybe scalp a $100, but it really depends on the day and what the market is giving you

trader28, first of all, thanks for sharing all your ideas with us.
This questions might be obvious to a lot of members here but I was wondering if you could expand on the $200 scalp... I'm assuming you're trading the ER2? How many contracts?

Are you sure about not trading the first 30 minutes?

Lately there have been good opportunities right after the opening.

I have been trying the Trader28 strategy succesfully trading IWM (the ER2 ETF) and would like to ad something. I like to use the T3 indicator in combination with the SMA9. Especially for getting in earlier when anticipating a zero line break.

If you like to let your profits run you can also use a T3 / sma9 crossing to exit if you can handle being in a position a long time.

    Just some remarks.

    regards,
    Ivo

  10. Yeah I notice the market goes through it's own little stages, chop for 1st half hour was almost gospel a few weeks ago and now it's the opposite, keeps us on our toes ;)
