I've had a couple of pm's asking if the histogram style indicator that I posted for TradeStation was available for Esignal. I am definitely not an EFS expert, but I modified the default MACD indicator code and I think I got it right. You will need to make sure the chart background is black or similar dark color, otherwise you will need to edit the code to change the plot colors.

The MACD indicator problem (like in any other trend indicator) is the periods when the market move sideway. So, for profitable system you can use this indicator only 0.33-0.5 of the time.

Have you tried any different avgs for the MACD lines in your execution/research? Just curious if some shorter avgs would get you in a little sooner in the trend but of course may also show more false signals in the process.

I actually use a Kwikpop indicator called TSKPautostop, but the closest MA to it seems to be the 8 or 9 period SMA

 

Is anyone having any luck on this method this morning?
