  1. I use Ensign charting software.
Here is my chart for today, one of the arrows is in the wrong place. Are you able to spot it?
Thanks WarEagle for your chart. I also have Tradestation but I haven't used it for years. I much prefer Ensign.

Good Trading All and thank you trader28 for sharing.

The 2nd last long points to the MACD cross down instead of up.

    What do I win?

  4. The key trades here today are not all the winners, they were easy, but the 2 short trades that reversed right at the Zero Line, they were valid signals but failed virtually as you would have got in... it's going to happen in any system but the market today has just been going up and up and never looked like it wanted to go anywhere else, so if you take a trade under those circumstances make sure you are ready to run screaming like a schoolgirl at the 1st sign of trouble, dont give it any wriggle room. Remember with the 10min MACD that far above it's Zero Line even if the short works chances are it's just a scalp, ie: a pullback in an uptrend

  6. Trader28,

Regarding stop-management: did I understand it right that you have a fixed stop of 10 ticks, but usually exit before it gets hit depending on market conditions?

  7. Not really, I certainly dont want to take more than a 10 tick hit but it depends on the 9 period simple moving average on 2min price chart

  8. So you don't use the hard stop at all? What if the price moves too far too fast?

  9. I like to see how the market is playing, but some are not comfortable with that, personal preference

  10. OK, I see, so you prefer to identify exit point realtime depending on price action and indicators only... I'm aware of such concept (if I remember right, Jack Hershey calls this "washing trades"), but it looks a bit scary at first, guess some more experience is needed to use it optimally.
