When I look at the (YM) it is flat. And has been for the past 3 days more or less. I've only made just a few trades... I've been watching C-Span on t.v. and watching the debate in the Congress about Iraq for the past three days. Very interesting by the way. But the (YM) is flat and is in one big channel of chop... I am thinking that the markets are watching the Congress on t.v. and nothing is getting traded. snarlyjack
Look at the MACD @ 9:46. The fast line crosses the slow while under the zero line. At 9:48 it continues and on your chart you have the 3sma cross heading down under the 9day sma. You have to jump in and take the signals when they come. Sometimes they only give you a half point so you cant wait. Sometimes they turn and go the other way, thats where your money mgmt plan comes into play. Sometimes they give you a nice run like today @ 9:48 Make money on the up-side, and make money on the down-side. Cut your losses fast and let your winners run.
I think we have different settings on the MACD. Fast line crossed below slow line above zero line. 9:48, fast line crosses below zero line. Although I do show 3ma crossing the 9ma at 9:46est. I have a level drawn at 814.60. that's what stalled my entry. But our MACDs do not match I believe. (?) Thanks for the feedback.
Hi guys, I want to post a chart of the best pattern of the last couple years. It's the failed top breakout pattern. In this bull market everytime we get a perfect top with a good solid breakout the thing fails. Fading this breakout would have been very effective time and time again. I just imagine the fat cats waiting for a pull back to buy. Like this morning their thinking of buying support and bingo they get a real bargain a couple points lower. On the other hand at this moment, it looks like we have a perfect dead cat bounce. And I'm Beefie the Bear. Trading these dead cat bounce setups has not been effective. Anyway check it out.
Guess this thread has been killed. Just when I was gettin' juiced up too. I've being having a pretty good track record lately. Thanks for this thread guys.
