For you to make money? that would be a nice change wouldn't it? Angry, bitter traders always give themselves away... they are losing and want to take it out on others
Well, when you call me ignorant on another thread then it's time to show some balls and prove you really trade this method. Or admit you have been a fake since the start. Especially since not too long ago you were still trying to figure out how to trade ES and then all of a sudden you were profitable for 2 years trading this lagging indicator method. And as the thread was going you were changing your entry method... Pretty funny.... (You guys should see the PM's this guy is sending me every 3 minutes, he is not too happy I am challenging him)... No more posting from me here today. I will wait until Monday to see if trader28lite is for real or not... The rest of you, I want you to make up your own minds..
Err.. half a dozen people told you they thought your posts in that thread were the most ignorant they had ever seen in their entire time here at ET... Calling you ignorant is like calling the pope Catholic... I don't think either will be challenged too much
That's right, if you think there is value in the offering, then do your own testing, like you would when buying a second-hand car.
i had been watching this thread for last 2 weeks. wonderful thread. i would say best thread here. thanks T28 for this thread. couple of observation and questions. 1. 2 min chart can be very choppy. i am trying to watch how SPY stock behaves. 2. I am more inclined to trade SPY as i need to invest more money.I can buy 2000 shares of SPY and folow this rule. low trading cost. 3. Use 5 min, 10 min and hourly chart. very few trade thats ok. trade on 5 min chart. 4. 25 cent stop. half exit on 25 cent profit., 10 min time stop. avoid economic data release timmings. 5.BB, samuel and T28 what do u guys see in real time trading with this strategy for longer period investors.
Ok, I'll do another test, this time on ER2, using both 10-min and 2-min bars. Also, I am not sure whether I got the exit rules right. If I use both MACD from 2-min and 10-min charts, when should I exit long and short position? I saw one criteria (10 minutes if the market doesn't move in the direction of the trade). Is that the only one that should be considered?
