  1. It was a pretty thourough glimpse of the ATM method and perhaps it wasnt supposed to be made public. You might look at Austins website and see if it is available there.

  2. I am back to watching the 5 min. ES in conjunction with the 2min YM. I have just been watching it too long and am not comfortable with not knowing what ES is doing. I am taking my trades off the 2 min as long as there is no disagreement between the two. I do not enter on the macd crossover. I either anticipate it or the majority of the time I wait for a pullback after it happens

  3. I think keeping an eye on ES is a great idea. Right now, it looks like it's forming a bull flag.

  4. I find these formations extremely hard to trade. A parabolic move up in the morning then a sideways or slight downward pennant. I wont do anything until I see a convincing move one way or the other. There are just too many fakeout breakouts.

  5. Ya, I'm sittin on my hands now too. I wait for a quality setup before I pull the trigger.

  6. Sweet 3SMA+2 entry on the short as it was crossing zero... we have to bottle that 3SMA+2

  7. Hey Beerbelly I took the exact same 23 pts on YM this morning

That was exactly R1 if you follow pivots. it only paused at R1 then actually blew threw R2 at 12185.

Maybe the morning breakout is the exception to taking 20 pts.

two nice trade to the short side at 12192 then again at 12185

one breakeven long in between those went only to 12194

around 12160 would be a 50 % retrace of this mornings move

62% retrace would be at 12150

I won't take any more short signal now.

    good trades

  8. T28Lite,

Concerning the 9SMA+2 using the "median" rather than "close", are you computing the median using H & L only or a combination of HLOC or something else?

  9. There are several options in Metastock under the moving average properties tab "price field" (open, high, low, close, median price and typical price) I imagine Metastock would be using a standard calculation but they dont allow you to see it

  10. I have never traded the ER2 before, but I'm planning on starting. What kind of slippage can I expect?
