...anybody have a strong opinion on th best way to do simple backtesting w/ end of day data? I dont need a software package that executes trades, charts, or streams quotes as I have plenty of other tools that do all that stuff. Has anybody ever used the simple excel add-ins from companies like Ozgrid? Also was looking at Amibroker because I heard they have a good back-tester but I need something that can easily handle futures and not neccessarily stox. Any thoughts?
Trade Station's back testing is decent. And chances are a friend or someone you know already uses them for charting. Cajun
