Hey everyone, I've been studying and trading the e-mini index futures for around a year and have gotten comfortable with specific setups and a general strategy. Unfortunately, just as I'm gaining traction, I'm no longer able to trade during the market hours because of a job/internship (I'm still in college). Anyway this has me searching for an instrument thats liquid enough and provides enough movement during the night that I can continue to trade (This is where FX comes in). I'm a purely technical trader. I primarily use S/R levels, price action, and volume and secondarily MACD and slow-stoch to make my trades. I was wondering how similar FX trading is to what I've been doing and if any of the skills would be transferable. Basically would I have to relearn everying for these squiggling lines?? hehe Thanks
if you don't use volume then you should be ok. Another thing is all FX charts used longer time frame probl due to it opens around the clock. http://elitetrader.com/vb/showthrea...&perpage=6&highlight=median line&pagenumber=1
