I wrung out what was essentially overtrading from the system and basically it's looking easy. Am programming some strategies for Ninjatrader that will put things on autopilot at times.. should be nice here eventually.. I'm about fifty days into my ninety day self imposed make or break period.. I might have to fire myself and that would be difficult ..

  3. + $36.96 Day
    + $1,498.74 Week
    + $1,498.74 MTD

Slugged out $36 bucks today, woohoo! :) Anyway, another solid, consistent week. Almost getting to the end of my sim trading phase and eager to start with real pesos.

  4. - $ 350 on sim trading

    + $ 87 on real trading

On sim trading, had problem chasing instead of trapping, and averaging into draw downs. Still came back from - $ 550. All trades es futures.

$65 to the good, and that while fixing up indicator code for an hour or two and whatnot and not focusing. Worst problem was second guessing my signals, instead of just taking a signal and waiting for the next one I sit here and feel sure that the signal was wrong and trade six times when one was fine...

Was away playing at the Casino, Wifey does very well there btw, I don't... she can make money on slot machines by intuition, so I don't discount the traders that go by gut feel... but if you don't have gut feel that works then.... ignore it...

I'm still working at it. Made about $450 play money/ contract first half hour today trading the YM. I switched to short term trend following and scalping for 4-6 points from "in all the time" trend following. I hated that, so boring, requiring so much attention, shorter term trades pay a lot better, far as I can tell... theoretically one should be able to combine the two worlds but I'm catching all the payoff moves in the channels already and scooping up lots of little stuff besides..

Sim traders are welcome to join in of course..

    + $555.54 one YM contract

Was up $650, quit at 8:30 [PST] because market was slow, came back at 11:00 thinking pace would pick up but it did not, cancelling rest of day on lack of interest...

No trends to speak of, I'm working on a way to trade across the sideways range, could have made it worth it to trade today if I could do that...

Any sim traders are welcome to post results here
