So I have a full-sized Dec 06 silver ECBOT future. When do I have to do rollover? If I read the regs right, it's the fourth business day prior to the first strike notice, which is Nov 29th. Does that mean I have to close it out tomorrow, Wed? I was hoping to buy March on a dip, then sell Dec on a spike.
thats what drives me crazy everyday .. trying to get a feel on if silver is going to lead or follow gold or if gold is going to lead or follow silver in the daytime with the ETF's ( for gold and silver ) it actually is harder for me to catch the correct wave unless I am willing to take more pain and fight the "bots" etc for every last dime
I don't know about you guys, but Silver to me looks absolutely awesome on the long side. I believe $15.105 will be taken soon, at the same time volatility will probably increase immensely making it a hard market to trade intraday. I am still not daytrading it, SLVs yes long-term.
i love the silver story. have been long and will continue to be... looking for a home run on this one - even if it takes 20 years... having said that - the last sell off from 15.20 to 9.50 was an awful emotional journey for me.... and charts are looking extended to me...due for a pullback just hope its not too vicious!!
silver will be ok for awhile until Silvercorp's Ying mine in China gets cooking.... it is a Titanic sized silver reserve of around a billion oz. with possibly as much inferred........and the cash cost is negitive re: silver since zinc will support the thing alone....
Thanks for that ddx, overall volatility is likely to pick up soon, one way or another. http://charts3.barchart.com/chart.a...=Y&org=stk&sym=SIH7&data=E&code=BSTK&evnt=adv I really dont see it dropping back to truly boring pace for a while........
