wow optionpro ... I did not realize silver prices

in 1982- 1983 had such a wild ride ... I will have to look
at the charts for gold in those years too now

 

As per your pm Seth, here is SI 1973-present quarterly.

 

While I don't trade silver, that last candle stick "tick" looks quite ominous.

 

ouch ... those were some nutty weeks

bear phase... no bottom in sight until the end of japan's rate cycle... get used to looking at these charts upside down if your not comfortable shorting...

 

look out for a bullish divergence on hourly and daily charts.

try macd/histogram paired with rsi perhaps, the current sell cycle could have been seen in macd/histogram daily bearish divergence, which was not great, though still took place. Same could be expected at the time of reversal.

EDIT: Serth, I think you misunderstood me, I did not make a call, I simply said that the bottom can be marked by a bullish divergence, which has not happened yet.
