    in 1982- 1983 had such a wild ride ... I will have to look
    at the charts for gold in those years too now

  6. bear phase... no bottom in sight until the end of japan's rate cycle... get used to looking at these charts upside down if your not comfortable shorting... :)

    try macd/histogram paired with rsi perhaps, the current sell cycle could have been seen in macd/histogram daily bearish divergence, which was not great, though still took place. Same could be expected at the time of reversal.

    EDIT: Serth, I think you misunderstood me, I did not make a call, I simply said that the bottom can be marked by a bullish divergence, which has not happened yet.
