Silo Conversion

  1. The silo might not be able to hold the oil. Consult with an engineer or physicist before possibly being publicly ostracized for creating an environmental hazard.

    -oil (petroleum) is 55 lbs/ cubic foot v. 45 for shelled corn
    -concrete is poor at containing solvents who knows about oil.
    -freshly harvested corn would stack better than a liquid and produce less pressure on the silo walls.
