Lin Wood slinks away after judge stops him from spouting more election conspiracy theories

Trump-loving attorney Lin Wood walked away during a disciplinary hearing on Monday after U.S. District Judge Linda Parker refused to let him spout more conspiracy theories about the 2020 presidential election.

Wood's outburst came after City of Detroit Attorney David Fink delivered a scathing breakdown of Wood and fellow Trump-backing lawyer Sidney Powell's conduct in the weeks following the 2020 presidential election, which he linked directly to the January 6th riots at the United States Capitol.

"Because of the lies told in this courtroom, not only did people die on January 6th, but people throughout the world came to doubt strength of democratic institutions in this country," Fink said. "This court can let the world know that attorneys not free to tell lies."

He then recommended that Wood, Powell and other attorneys be referred for disbarment and that the judge ban them from practicing law within the district.

At this point, Wood tried to respond to Fink's allegations by insisting that the falsehoods he pushed after the election were not lies -- but Judge Parker wasn't having any of it.

"This is not a debate!" she told him pointedly.

Shortly after this, Wood walked away from the hearing, leaving behind an empty chair.

Now that we have reached the "Sanctions" stage, none of the six lawyers involved in the "Kraken" lawsuit in Michigan, including Sidney Powell, and Lin Wood, apparently wrote the initial complaint, or barely even read it.

Lawyers retreat from pro-Trump election suit
At a hearing on possible sanctions over the Michigan case, some attorneys downplayed their roles.

All Government is hard at work hunting down and punishing anyone who asks for the 2020 election to be studied

Sorry buddy but you don’t ask a court to study an election. These idiots thought the court system was somewhere to play a game and get media attention and all they are going to get is sanctioned.

Yrump supporters still haven’t learned anyone who gets involved with Trump gets burned because the whole thing is a media scheme. He builds them up to burn them down. And you all love it like it’s a television show.

The problem is this ain’t no motion picture. This is all real serious business. Life and death stuff not something for con men and sycophants.

'They're getting laughed out of court': Leaked emails show RNC's top lawyer thought Trump election lawsuits were 'a joke'

The Washington Post reports that RNC chief counsel Justin Riemer wrote in an email to former GOP spokeswoman Liz Harrington that Trump allies' desperate bids to keep him in the White House were a "joke" that had no chance of success.

"What Rudy and Jenna are doing is a joke and they are getting laughed out of court," he wrote. "They are misleading millions of people who have wishful thinking that the president is going to somehow win this thing."

Riemer turned out to be right, as the Trump lawsuits were all tossed out of court, and the Supreme Court declined to even give a lawsuit filed by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton a hearing.
