Depressingly, the only people who have lost their jobs at the federal and state level during the coronavirus crisis in the U.S. have been whistleblowers like vaccine expert Dr. Richard Bright at the Department of Health and Human Services and data scientist Rebekah Jones who worked for the state of Florida. Bright told Congress he was forced out after not sufficiently promoting a drug called hydroxychloroquine that President Donald Trump had touted as a miracle to treat covid-19. Studies have shown that hydroxychloroquine may actually cause higher death rates in people with the new coronavirus. And Jones, who worked on Florida’s online coronavirus dashboard, says she was pushed out after refusing to manipulate public data in order to make the Florida pandemic look better than it actually was, according to an interview she gave NPR this week. Yes... shutdown the borders and have 14 day quarantine. If we did that CA might have avoided regressing back into shutdown after just a few weeks. Its like they planned to sabotage our recovery.

So after spinning it as Americans and green card holders they save some truth for last.... Asylum seekers and other migrants have been barred from entering the United States since March, when President Trump closed the border to all but essential travel. I have not used the word tourists in over 2 years.. I stated that our border policy is sabotaging our Covid policy... and now the increase in cases is being used as a reason to shutdown again. I don't really care its tourists or not. If we choose to be humanitarians great I am in favor... but lets do it safely and not count infections as a reason for lock down.
