The real scam lies with the medical community. There are way too many third-rated med schools churning out too damn many incapable doctors, who end up getting sued year after year. So that needlessly brings up the medical insurance for everyone. Then there are the Big Pharmas. Do they even need an intro? Everyone knows they're a pack of thieves. Like why is the same medication that you can get for $20 in Canada costs as much as $200 here in the US? There's something really fucked up with this country.

So, before we fix the SS, we should first fix the real problem, which is the medical community itself.

As others said, SS is like a Ponzi scheme. Once you give people the option to bail out, the whole system will crumble.

    The common good its called.

Is mandatory minimum car insurance a Ponzi scheme? I sure don't want someone on the road who is not insured, or if they chance it and get caught have to pay up.

  5. You don't need to take it away, just allow a phase out/opt out.
Imagine if making a 10% 401k contribution allowed one to redirect their SS contribution into their 401k.

As for "taking it away" how much debt that supports SS have Biden "forgiven" without a peep from the AARP et al?
Most people are too ignorant to even know they were robbed.

The politicians will always find ways to tax the average American. Average Americans who vote for these politicians repeatedly, and keep them in power are the problem. They are committing financial suicide but, ignorant to the fact.

  8. “Necessity is the plea for every infringement of human freedom. It is the argument of tyrants; it is the creed of slaves.”

As for car insurce, illegal immigrants drive around all the time without insurance and I have yet to see the left complain about it let alone actually do something.

As I also said ".....or if they chance it and get caught have to pay up."

And it is the courts, traffic court, in this case to do something about it. And they do.
