    The NY Times had an article about healthcare and said something to the effect, politics should not enter in the supreme court decision but they really should rule in favor of the bill.

    I'll go one further. Alan Dershowitz basically summs it up this way. "Know your judge". As if impartiality of the law is a practical concept.
