Well first of all it wasn't an IB it was a bank....One thing I learned is that banks don't know what they are doing. My branch manager couldn't open a checking account and she'd been there 4 years.
las - you need a securities employment lawyer ASAP. You can't let this sit long and you need to be proactive. Having been in the same biz years ago, I remember what dealing with compliance is like and you have to act quickly and show you mean business.
Just a question, dont you have a screening process for working with people? what were you doing there to begin with? I was caught at bad firms not screening. The more screening I seem to do the more I see going in business for yourself is much better. You were a cta? why not just pick up the phone and a stack of dnbs?
