Should I Prop my ATS?

I've been developing & trading an automated trading system for about 2 years now through IB's API. Unfortunately, I don't have enough money to capitalize it properly, so I was wondering if anyone could tell me if joining a Prop firm would be a good way for someone in my situation to access more leverage? Currently, I can only take about 1/4 of the trades the system generates. Here's some additional info about my system:

    1) System is 100% automated
    2) It holds long positions overnight, unhedged
    3) It uses lots of MOO & MOC order types
    4) Fully capitalized, it would require an average of $1.7mln buying power/day

Would a Prop firm be an appropriate mechanism for funding something like this?
