The best traders I know of never had the luxury of even asking such a question. It just seemed to happen. Natural, you know. On the other hand, I don't think I've ever really met a successful trader that actually set out to be a "trader". Kind of ironic really. I think it really has to do with the nature of trading. You have to have been around a block or two a couple of times to really be good at this thing. Too much real world/life/business experience needed to be really good. Good Luck!
