Over the years I've ran into quiet a few "chat room gurus" but there's one thing different about Hershey. He is using his real name. You can even see his picture on the meetup sight for Tucson, Arizona. I'm not sure why he would do that unless he does indeed have some sort of mental problem. It never really occured to me that he may be "ill" until I saw his post about lounging at Camp David, being on television and autographing books. On chat rooms, sometimes the term "delusions of grandeur" is bandied about in a squabble, but there really is a condition known as delusions of grandeur, I studied it in high school psychology. Not that such a limited education qualifies me for a medical diagnoses, but .... ?
Conclusion before verification is as delusional as grandeur claim without substance, don't you think?
September 17, 1859 â Joshua A. Norton, who lost his money in an attempt to corner the rice market, today declared himself Norton I, Emperor of the United States and Protector of Mexico. December 2, 1859 â Norton I dismissed Gov. Wise of Virginia for hanging John Brown and appointed John C. Breckenridge of Kentucky to replace him. February 1, 1860 â Decree from Norton I ordered representatives of the different states to assemble at Plattâs Music Hall to change laws to ameloriate the evils under which the country was laboring. Police Chief Patrick Crowley apologized to His Majesty and ordered him released. Several scathing newspaper editorials followed the arrest. All police officers began to salute His Majesty when he passed them on the street. July 25, 1869 â Decree from Norton I that San Franciscans advance money to Frederick Marriott for his airship experiments. March 18, 1873 â David Belasco made his stage debut at the Metropolitan Theatre playing Emperor Norton in the play âThe Gold Demon.â January 8, 1880 â Norton I dropped dead on California St. at Grant Ave. He was on his way to a lecture at the Academy of Natural Sciences. January 9, 1880 â Headline in the Morning Call: âNorton the First, by the grace of God Emperor of the United States and Protector of Mexico, departed this life.â January 10, 1880 â Norton I was buried today at Masonic Cemetery. The funeral cortege was two miles long. 10,000 people turned out for the funeral. June 30, 1934 â Emperor Norton I reburied in Woodlawn Cemetery by citizens of San Francisco. January 7, 1980 â The city marked the 100th anniversary of the death of its only monarch, Emperor Norton, with lunch-hour ceremonies at Market and Montgomery streets.
That depends. If we were talking about an entrepreneur with alleged delusions of grandeur, then I would have to agree with you. Verification would have to precede the conclusion. However, in this matter, we are dealing with an entremanure with delusions of manure. Apples and oranges.
Do you have a link to this site where a pic of Jack can be seen? It would be interesting to put a face to his writings...
Here's the link: http://ibd.meetup.com/75/members/2239980/ For your further amusement: overalaboration bordering on lunacy, dozens or even scores of superfluous levels, high flown titles unrelated to their actual function (if any), inscrutable eunuchs, rival sports factions... Sounds a lot like the Hershey methods to me.
If you search ET, you will find Jack has posted a picture of him flying. Please go download the picture and see if it is Photoshopped. LOL. This will be the least DD you can do. BTW, the airplane model is Grob 109. To be exact in terminology, it is a glider. Some call it a sail plane. Of course, you have been reading Grob 109 all these year and did not know it was an airplane, until now. I know.
