    "When someone comes on too strong and is nearly evangelical on an issue, I tend to tune them out on that issue. Not that I ignore the facts, but rather I lose interested in discussing the facts."

    That would have been reasonable.

    However, to say that "...causes me to become disinterested in the facts."

    That is not reasonable...

    A person who becomes disinterested in facts, becomes interested in non fact, which is what you do repetitively here at ET. You spout non fact, make illogical arguments, appeals to mob rule...

    Bottom line...you are a "pants on fire" personality...

    A true critical thinker would never, ever say they are not interested in the facts of an issue...despite the manner in which the issue was presented.

    Bigots say things like you say, because the don't like the person, the ignore the facts and just go with their emotions of distaste.

    You won't accept the fact of course, but you outed yourself today as a person who is not interested in facts...but rather only interested in your own judgment and opinions not supported by facts...
