They left is really going to lose its collective mind if or when RBG retires or expires. There will be some berserking. There will be breakage.
Your mom should've swallowed Abortion was not just legal—it was a safe, condoned, and practiced procedure in colonial America and common enough to appear in the legal and medical records of the period. Official abortion laws did not appear on the books in the United States until 1821, and abortion before quickening did not become illegal until the 1860s. If a woman living in New England in the 17th or 18th centuries wanted an abortion, no legal, social, or religious force would have stopped her. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/10297561 Abortion was frequently practiced in North America during the period from 1600 to 1900. Many tribal societies knew how to induce abortions. They used a variety of methods including the use of black root and cedar root as abortifacient agents. During the colonial period, the legality of abortion varied from colony to colony and reflected the attitude of the European country which controlled the specific colony. In the British colonies abortions were legal if they were performed prior to quickening. In the French colonies abortions were frequently performed despite the fact that they were considered to be illegal. In the Spanish and Portuguese colonies abortion was illegal. From 1776 until the mid-1800s abortion was viewed as socially unacceptable; however, abortions were not illegal in most states. During the 1860s a number of states passed anti-abortion laws. Most of these laws were ambiguous and difficult to enforce. After 1860 stronger anti-abortion laws were passed and these laws were more vigorously enforced. As a result, many women began to utilize illegal underground abortion services. Although abortion was legalized in 1970, many women are still forced to obtain illegal abortion or to perform self-abortions due to the economic constraints imposed by the Hyde Amendment and the unavailability of services in many areas. Throughout the colonial period and during the early years of the republic, the abortion situation for slave women was different than for other women. Slaves were subject to the rules of their owners, and the owners refused to allow their slaves to terminate pregnancies. The owners wanted their slaves to produce as many children as possible since these children belonged to the slave owners. This situation persisted until the end of the slavery era.
Just move then to museums on the civil war... Why does your ilk celebrate treasonous rebels who fought to own slaves with public honors?
Why are you so obsessed with this? Why do you feel the need to slander courageous people who fought for their home against a repressive federal government? We honor our ancestors for their courage. You are offended because you have nothing.
They were oppressed by a government that wanted to outlaw slavery....how awful. Were the Union troops invading their home to oppress them? Oh yeah they were going to take away their slaves and then the lazy fucks would have to pick their own cotton... bastards. I guess it is brave to fight for your right to own other people and treat them like property...
Civil.War was more than 150 years ago and your side lost. Maybe you should leave if you do not.like the outcome but was already decided. If you want to go back to owning slaves then you should find another country that will let.you do that. How does it feel to still be rooting for the losing side haha.
I can appreciate if you are embarrassed by my own history how you would want to try to bring down the history of others. It is an embarassement to all African Americans that they were slaves for so long. It was common knowledge that African Americans were the most conducive to servitude and sloth than any other group because slavery was a common practice in Africa for thousands of years. It was genetically instilled. Although the last country to make slavery "illegal" was in Africa, it is actually still a wide spread practice in Africa today. Slavery has been practiced in Africa for 1,000's of years. Extreme racism has only come into practice in Africa within the last 25 years. If you want to know what true racism is, Google Rwanda Genocide - 1994. You should be able to not have to like someone. However, to indiscriminately massacre a group is wrong. This is a prevalent form of behavior in Africa. THERE IS NOT AN AFRICAN AMERICAN TODAY WHO WISHES THEIR ANCESTORS HAD STAYED IN AFRICA. Hang out in Africa and see how your jive stuff works. Robert E. Lee was an exceptional human being. He makes most lists of 100 most accomplished Americans. Some will call it racist but not one African America makes this list. If you would like to offer an African American who should make the list of 100 most accomplished Americans please list their accomplishments and how it made any difference to the 329,000,000 living in the US today. God Bless Robert E. Lee
