Expressing concerns over the leadership capabilities of a race, questioning the appropiateness of depicting homosexuality in movies, and justifying the taking of lands from Native Americans may be politically incorrect in today’s political environment, but still was considered fair game by many back then and even fair game today. For example, John Wayne’s questioning of Black leadership was probably based on lack of political experience they had at the time. John Wayne implied once Blacks have more experience, leadership positions would be more appropiate. The Left is desparately trying to rewrite history by destroying era defining American icons. Individuals that display independent thinking and strong willed determination is the antithesis of Socialist herd building the Leftists are so famous for throughout history. John Wayne received the Freedom medal from Ronald Reagan and the Congessional medal of Honor for representing the values that helped build America into the destination of choice and the global power it is today.
