    Quote from TM_Direct:

You want to ban abortion the second sperm hits an egg but you can't define life....The supreme court can't define Porn but they know it when they see it...I can;t define JUnk Food but i also know that juv. diabietes and obesity have become epidemics in this country...and al you have to do is go down any street in the US and all you see is MC.Don, Wendy, BK, Pizza, ect....

walk down a street in Europe and you hardly see any and they are very thin....and they also all smoke!
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

'Europeans' have high rates of heart disease and diabetes so don't kid yourself.

it baffles my mind that someone who seems at least fairly intelligent calls for a ban of something they can't define isn't this called 'irrational'?

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
OK...Nice and slow so even a moron like you can understand...READ the reply first then answer:
1)Did I not say that " I cannot define it"??

Yet you say I cannot define it...Duh...thats what I said

    2) Did i not say Europeans are thin BUT THEY ALL SMOKE"??

Yet you read this and say " they have hi rates of heart disease...DUH!! Ya think smoking plays a factor here?

Why do i get the feeling your a 14 year old boy wearing underwear on your head and playing with Mom and dads computer??

  7. ya gots to do a simple cost/benefit (ie, harm/pleasure) analysis. how much pleasure you getting from this behavior and what do you wish to risk for it.

i love big macs, can eat three in a sitting. chips too, french fries YUM! however, haven't had any for years now, why, that 5 mins of pleasure ain't worth years of loss of health benefits

my dad said to me once, "think about it, whatever you eat only tastes good for the few minutes that you eat it. it's only a 'few minutes'. Is it worth it?"i think of this and it helps me

  8. I get tremendous pleasure from coffee loaded with cream and sugar. And when I am dead I will have all the time in the world to regret my actions.

Now dont get all preachy on me...:D

  9. No preachy here,,

simple sugar and cream in your coffee will not kill you. bad choices are additive. what are you giving up to balance things out? what are you putting on the other side of the seesaw to help undo the bad choice you are aware of :D

ps of course with smoking there is NOTHING you can do to balance things out, unfortunately
