    Yes....you can't be tall and short futures in the future...however I think they will be changing that in the near future so if your not short and and would like to short futures....just wait for future changes they will be here shortly...

    I just read the S.E.C. is going to make any stocks traded in boxer shorts exempt from the uptick rule starting July 1 in a new pilot program.

  7. I heard that too. I think its going to be a hassle to put your pants on to go long though. What happens if you get a short margin call?

    Man, I'm getting more confused. I understand it's okay to have your longs up. But in today's world, is it a bad thing to get caught with your shorts up? I wasn't raised this way.

    Anyways, if you're using margin in your shorts, you've got a real bad problem, IMHO.

    Thanks for clarifying, BSAM; I've always heard that margin helps a lot of people go long on their shorts!
