The problem with sitting in 4 week bills is how boring it is. I am eating some 20k so far in opportunity cost with closing my TLT trade. I still think I am on the right path. There is even a chance TLT certainly goes back to a 100. The problem is my bills are basically a certainty. It is so easy to go in huge on bills here.
I wouldn't make a 10 year loan out unless I get about 7%. I want about 10-12% interest rate to make a 20-30 yr loan. Until the Fed actually cuts, then I don't see how anything above a 6 month tbill is worth it.
Well, let me plan to go long on ZT/ZN/ZB now 3 cuts are on the table. Maybe thrown in some TLT in the cash account.
long 2’s and short 5’s and 10’s, according to gross. not sure I want to go short, but long 2 is a fair bet to the end of the year.
closed the 10s shorts at a 6 ticks profit, too good to pass the market volatility, will wait for another entry opportunity.
