is anybody else experienceing 100 times more stocks that are non-shortable today than any other day...or is it just swift's brilliant software? didnt even think it was possible for a stock to become non-shortble mid-day!
stocks become unshortable the minute your broker runs out of shares. For stocks w/ Single Stock Futures, or Options, they're never technically unshortable. You can always short a future, or create a synthetic short with options.
