Are BB stocks shorted the same way as a NNM or NYSE listed stock? The reason I ask is that there are a lot of times that I want to short stocks that are basically turds but simply can't get them (not there to borrow). Is this because they are BB or is it because my broker's short list is limited? There are a tonne of these hoisted on unsuspecting people through boiler rooms (aka spam) and shorting them would be a fantastic side strategy. A few recent examples would be VRCM, EUNI, IDIB and DIO. Any help appreciated.
