Well, its not a terrible idea technically to short GOOG. It has a pretty big long term pattern with resistance up here. It is just a gamble. Long term, I think GOOG is one of the best buys out there, and eventually breaks up higher. Short-term, it seems like an interesting idea if the market takes a fall, could make a nice move down, but don't be greedy on the cover.
