The Dec 27 Calls are .85 - .95. If you get those for .9, breakeven is 27.9. I think its more than likely that UDN will be trading at that level by Dec expiration.
Most of us that disagreed with you didn't do it in an insulting manner. We simply stated that we didn't agree. And in the timeframe where you made the call, WE can say we're just as right as you. You made a long term forecast, which was an excellent call. But the intraday moves can kill a trader if he's too early. So tone down, become more civil or these posts will just end up in chit chat.
RiceRocket, Been sitting on a meltup of the GBP/USD. Never would have thought they would be dumping the dollar for the sterling, weird shit out there. Anyways, nice call.
not a currency guy myself. Stering/USD bottomed at around the same level in last depression, at least from what I read.
Ya gotta luv that Big Mac Index doncha! All this complicated fundamental and technical analysis and all anyone needed to do was drop into the local McD's
Wow chill dude, you weren't the only one to make a good call on this thread! Markets are made up of people who have opposing views, it's the nature of the game. Getting so excited about your call suggests maybe it's a novelty and a surprise for you to get it right! You made some money, that's great, some of us do it every single trading day but we never go around making fun of those who perhaps lost money because we know that tomorrow that could be us! Don't forget that someone was on the other side of your trade and they're probably feeling like shit so be a graceful winner, huh. Good call for sure and a number of people have acknowledged that fact, it's a shame you couldn't return the compliment to some of them though. My advice would be calm down, don't get so excited about a win, extreme emotions in trading aren't good
Man, I gotta go c what a big mac cost around my neck of the woods. I knw a Quarter Pounder with cheese is 4.30, cause I wound up getting a couple of double cheeseburgers
lol, let us know! That screenshot was off Bloomberg, I was amazed that apparently there are some serious players who take notice of it like any other index! Mind you they were all over like 260 pounds!
