Thank you for your clarification and the manner which you explained your position (relative to some of your previous posts I am very impressed with this one). I understand your position and appreciate it. I agree that certainly in this business "buyer beware" is a valid moto.

Let’s get one thing straight here, despite your accusations, which you culled from that great arbiter of truth The NY Post, it was not his trading system that led him down the road to financial disequilibrium. Certain events occurred in his life, beyond his control, that got him into some rough times. How do I know? Because I asked Mr. Carboni himself. He was gracious enough to invite me to his home for an informal discussion and show me his operation. I have also investigated his story further with a neighbor of mine who has worked on the floor of the NYMEX and is now a director and has corroborated what Mr. Carboni had to say.

Stealth Trader you’re showing bad character and lack of moral fiber by chastising a man of whose background you know nothing about. I found Mr. Carboni to be genuine and a gentleman. Much unlike yourself as you’ve demonstrated through your recent tirade in this journal. I write not to assualt your ego, or apologize for some imagined faux pas of Mr. Carboni’s. I simply want you to know that I find it disturbing your obscene attacks against a man to the point where it is now an obsession. It is as though you have entered the downward spiral of a man suffering from delusional paranoia due to alcohol psychosis.

Stealth I’ve read every one of your entries into this journal just to see for myself why Mr. Carboni has you so rankled. By appearances initially you had no problem with Mr. Carboni. In fact you applauded his initial efforts, and yet you spoke out of both sides of your mouth.

The hypocrisy of it all. Wishing a man no ill will yet within the same breath insulting his integrity. Over a very short period of time your entries have degenerated into a vitriolic attack on the man himself while insulting others with your arrogance.

Stealth you are welcome to your opinion but it is this entry that you made that I take umbrage with because it is completely disingenuous and slanderous as well.

Well that point was quite apparent in your second posting in this journal on April 18th as quoted above. Who cares whether someone is pretending to be someone they are not. The truth is discernible, it doesn't take a genius to figure it out. Who put you on this crusade of righteousness, defender of the truth over the internet. Get a life! Go out and take a walk, go read a book, get a hobby.

That sir is a boldfaced lie. Unless you are willing to present definitive proof of that statement then you are nothing more than a liar. Too much rides upon this man’s livelihood and reputation for you to make such a disingenuous statement.

Mr. Carboni has decided to take a step down a path that many fear to tread. To re-invent himself after having spent nearly 25 years in a job he loved while making a comfortable living. To put himself out there on the firing line everyday in an effort to make a new career for himself. He’s been brave enough to utilize a medium that has transformed the face of communication within the scope of the resources that he has available. Take it for what it is worth, no one is holding a gun to your head telling you to follow his advice. Quite frankly his advice hasn’t been all that bad and as you have admitted yourself it is quite entertaining. This is a singular man’s effort to build a business. The man is a true entrepreneur willing to face the risk without remuneration.

Let’s see you do the same Stealth Trader. Put yourself out there, do your own website, make your own market call to be scrutinized by the public. You can’t because you are one of the born pessimists who hate to see the success of others. The naysayer, the arrogant know-it-all who wishes nothing but failure upon others. There is nothing worse than an unprincipled, intolerant, self-aggrandizing, obnoxious, insipid, liar and that sir is the fiber from which you are made. You are nothing but a coward. If I have hit a raw nerve with you and you feel obligated to respond then the truth has been exposed.

I had a chance to watch Mr Carboni last Thursday for few minutes at the Mandalay Hotel in Vegas at the closing of the Money Show. I regret I only caught the last few minutes of his presentation. No idea, thus, what he was talking about, but whatever it was, this gentleman is very well equipped to deliver what he is thinking: voice, pitch, diction, conviction.....oh!

I envy my2cents for the way he/she writes, his/her logic and reasoning, and Mr. Carboni for his impeccable presentations.
If I only had 10% of this combined qualities, with the little I learned in 30+ years of trading, I could be minting money, Oh, Well...

As for Mr. Carboni, if he fell in the past, I applaud him for getting up and trying again... for the 25th year.
