the hurricane season is only a small factor in this.who do you think is buying all this oil,what makes them buy it today,and the other side,who is selling it to them and why do they sell it now. the US gov sold a decent stock of oil,do you think they did this for the common good,put pressure on prices,or did they think it was a good time to sell.when ever the gov is on the selling side of a trade,I would not be the buyer hoping for higher prices.it may be time for some consolidation.but be aware of this, the commercials do their net selling in downtrend markets and net buying in up trending markets.
