Short-term intraday traders: limit or market entries?

  1. NICE! You have to remember to change your alias to match your signature. Not only are you a scammer and a spammer, which was proven on the "SNAKEOIL" thread yesterday. But, you just screwed up and let everyone on ET know you have at least one other alias. And, if we know about one, there are probably 10 we don't know about. Kind of like roaches...

  3. No, I am not you. You are a liar, and a spammer who tries to get business from ET. Your spin will not save you here - anyone interested in your intentions needs to visit this thread - start with the post fron newtoet, and read the following pages:

    Yes it is true:

Snooptrader and Bruto Blukowski are my alter ego's that i created to argue with myself so that people would read my threads and feel sorry for me.:p

Have you not noticed that they follow me wherever I go?
Every thread that I have started they are the ones that FLAME me the most!

Yes it is sick I know but there was no other way.
I had to make people listen to me.

    I need help.:p

i use both, depending on circumstance: if a market is too illiquid and moving too fast to risk a market order, it's probably not somewhere a little guy should be, anyway.

If the market went through your limit price, aren’t you going to get your fill? How are you missing the opportunity?

I use limit order to enter. Limit and stop-limit to exit trades. No market orders. My missed opportunities come when the market comes close or sometimes touches my limit price, but don’t fill before it moves away from it. I use 100 tick chart on the ES and holding time can vary from under a minute to sometime over 30 minutes.
